PHOTO CONTEST

IBEW Local 876 is pleased to announce the launch of our monthly photo contest, which is open to all of our active members. The purpose of this contest is to showcase the excellent work of our members, as well as to highlight the important role that we play in our industry.

 

The contest will run between the dates of January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024. To enter the contest, members must submit photos via email to svincent@ibewlocal876.org by the last day of the month. All photos that are submitted will be given express consent to be used in literature and social media posts by IBEW Local 876.

 

The prize for the top photo, as selected by Business Manager Mel Crawford, will be a hooded sweatshirt with IBEW Local 876 insignia on it (value $50). The winner will be selected no later than the 14th day of the following month of submission.

 

In addition to the prize for the top photo, some or all submitted photos will be displayed monthly on our social media platforms Facebook and LinkedIn. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase the work of our members and to promote IBEW Local 876 to a wider audience.

 

To ensure that the contest is fair and transparent, the following guidelines will be in place:

 

• Members may submit up to 5 photos per month.

• Photos must be related to the work of IBEW Local 876 and should showcase the expertise and professionalism of our members.

• Photos should be high-resolution and should not be edited or enhanced in any way.

• By submitting photos, members are acknowledging that they have taken the photos themselves and have the legal right to submit them for the contest.

• Business Manager Mel Crawford will have final say in selecting the winning photo each month.
